No! No auditions and no music reading required. We strive to make singing accessible regardless of experience or ability.
We do supply sheet music for most of what we sing, and sometimes practice tracks as well.
-
Each week, between 25 and 75 people of all ages and abilities show up for choir. Lisa Leopold, local music teacher, leads the group.
We start with some simple warm-ups and then practice a mix of new and known pieces which often include multiple harmony parts. Folks can choose to sing the melody or a harmony part. Sing as loudly or quietly as you’d like!
-
We perform a handful of times throughout the year. Though we welcome all to attend, performances are totally optional.
-
Thanks to River Arts, which provides space, materials, and volunteer stipends, there is no charge to participate.
